Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and protecting historical buildings and landmarks in Las Vegas. You will work closely with local government agencies, property owners, and construction teams to ensure that these structures are maintained and restored in accordance with preservation guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation work
- Develop and implement plans for preserving, restoring, and maintaining these structures
- Collaborate with local government agencies to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines and regulations
- Work closely with property owners to educate them on the importance of preservation and the best ways to maintain their historical properties
- Oversee construction projects related to preservation work, including managing budgets, timelines, and contractors
- Conduct research on historical building materials, techniques, and design elements to inform restoration plans
- Utilize sustainable practices in all preservation efforts
- Document all work done on historical buildings for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration work
- Knowledge of preservation guidelines and regulations
- Strong understanding of architectural history
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Las Vegas. Applicants from India who are English-speaking are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time job without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa.
