Facade Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facade Specialist to join our team in Akron. As a Facade Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior facing of buildings. Your duties will include conducting site surveys, creating detailed drawings and plans, selecting appropriate materials, overseeing installation and construction processes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of building facades and their various components such as cladding systems, windows, doors, and ventilation systems. You should also have experience with facade design software and be able to create detailed drawings and plans. Strong project management skills are essential as you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of building facades
- Design facade systems using specialized software
- Create detailed drawings and plans for new construction projects
- Select appropriate materials for each project based on location, climate, and budget
- Oversee installation and construction processes to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously within strict deadlines
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful completion of projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade design or construction
- Proficiency in facade design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of building facades and their various components
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different professionals
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Akron (willingness to relocate preferred)
