Junior JAVA Developer


A leading software development company in Svalbard is seeking a motivated and talented Junior JAVA Developer to join our team. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will work on exciting projects and develop new features for our cutting-edge software applications. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1600$, accommodation, and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications using JAVA programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing functionality
- Troubleshoot and fix technical issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest JAVA development trends and techniques
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in JAVA programming language
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript would be an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Passion for learning new technologies
- Good communication skills
Experience:
No prior experience required. However, candidates with some experience in software development or relevant internships will be preferred.

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position based in Svalbard. Accommodation will be provided by the company. Visa sponsorship will also be provided for non-residents of Svalbard.
