Milling Machine Operator


We are seeking a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Nakuru. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating milling machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations to be performed
- Adjust machine controls and make tool offsets as necessary
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed for quality control
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machine or production process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Milling Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English
