Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our fine dining restaurant in Fonvieille. You will lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring high quality and consistency in all food preparations. Your creativity and passion for food will drive the menu development, with a focus on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of food quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes using fresh ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and customers
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Formal culinary education is preferred but not required
Salary: $1600 per month
This is a full-time position with flexible hours. We are looking for someone who is willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
