Librarian for English Language Library in Al Buraymi, Oman



We are searching for a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team at the English language library in Al Buraymi, Oman. This position is suitable for men of Indian nationality who have a passion for books and a strong command of the English language.

As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books and other materials. This includes cataloging new items, maintaining an efficient system for shelving and retrieving materials, and ensuring that all items are properly labeled and accounted for.

In addition to managing the physical collection, you will also be responsible for overseeing the library's online resources and assisting patrons with accessing these resources. You should have strong computer skills and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

As this position does not include accommodation, you should already be based in Al Buraymi or be willing to relocate at your own expense. However, we do offer a free visa and ticket to help facilitate your move.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Library Science or a related field. Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred. You must also have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
