Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented Executive Chef to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation and presentation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Train and lead kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Monitor food costs and work with management to develop strategies for cost control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on teamwork
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.
