Turner - Contract Position in Bergen, Norway



We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Turner to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machine tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Adjust machine settings to achieve proper dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished parts for quality control purposes
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficiency in using various machine tools and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
