Turner - Contract Worker (Bergen, Norway)


We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to shape metal into parts or components. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the field and a passion for precision work.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and drills
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance checks and repairs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of machine tool operation and maintenance
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work independently

This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $1300. The duration of the contract will be discussed during the interview process.
