Senior Java Developer



We are a fast-growing software development company based in Kaunas, seeking a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining complex enterprise-level applications. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month, with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable and maintainable Java applications
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of projects
- Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the development process and enhance the company's products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Spring framework, Hibernate, SQL and other related technologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in developing enterprise-level web applications using J2EE technologies
- Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS or ReactJS
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker etc.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
