Experienced Mason

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures such as walls, floors, and other masonry work. This is a full-time position with an attractive salary of 1200$, along with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction site by setting up scaffolding and securing the area
- Lay out patterns or foundations using chalk lines or straightedges
- Mix mortar or grout using cement mixers or hand tools
- Arrange bricks, stones, or other materials in patterns or designs according to blueprints
- Cut or break bricks, stones, or blocks to size using chisels or saws
- Spread mortar between joints using trowels
- Repair or replace broken or damaged bricks, stones, or blocks
- Clean excess mortar from finished work using water and brushes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason with at least 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of masonry materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
