Java Developer


We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications using Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. You must also have experience working with agile development methodologies and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean and efficient code that meets coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
- Work with product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience with database design and SQL queries
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Hebrew is a plus)

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Jerusalem (accommodation can be provided for foreign candidates)

This is a contract position for 6 months with potential for extension based on performance.
