Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Project Manager
We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as an Infrastructure Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion. Your main duties will include managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience managing large scale infrastructure projects. This position is based in Atlanta, but we welcome applicants from all over Canada with valid work permits. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. Please note that this role does not include accommodation but offers a free visa and ticket for successful candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and completion
- Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on track with timelines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Identify any potential issues or roadblocks and develop solutions to address them
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status
- Prepare regular reports on project progress and present them to management
- Manage project budgets effectively to minimize costs without compromising quality
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve project management processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large scale infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, equipment, and safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Valid work permit for Canada is required
