Cashier - Abu Dhabi


Our growing retail store in Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing sales transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing exceptional customer service to all our customers. We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system
- Handle cash and credit card payments according to store policies
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist customers with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Follow all store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
