Caregiver for Elderly in Alta



We are seeking a compassionate and responsible caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Alta, Norway. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing daily care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities to elderly clients.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Engage in conversation and provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Monitor client's health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate individuals

Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a caregiver is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR
- Must have a kind, patient, and empathetic attitude towards the elderly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be physically able to assist with lifting or transferring clients
- Must be fluent in Norwegian or English
- Valid driver's license is an asset

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
