Barista (Svalbard)


We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in Svalbard. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers. Our ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages according to company standards
- Ensure that all drinks are made with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and handling any concerns or complaints
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barista or similar role
- Knowledge of various coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints or concerns effectively
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this full-time position. In addition, we provide ongoing training opportunities to help you improve your skills as a Barista.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard, an archipelago situated between Norway and the North Pole. The unique natural landscape offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and wildlife viewing.
