Instrument Technician - Lusail, Qatar

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial plants. You should have a strong background in electrical engineering and be familiar with a variety of equipment such as transmitters, controllers, valves, and sensors.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair instruments and control systems according to safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment using various tools and techniques
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments as needed to maintain accuracy
- Test new instruments before installation to ensure proper performance
- Keep detailed records of work performed and any issues encountered
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and instrumentation equipment
- Familiarity with PLCs, DCSs, HMI systems, and other control systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required
- Valid work visa for Qatar (Nepali nationals preferred)

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
