Entry-Level Accountant in Svalbard


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team in Svalbard. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily financial tasks such as data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
