Executive Chef - Fine Dining


We are seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team of our fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Bergen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining cuisine and a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef. As the leader of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality dishes, managing inventory and costs, training and developing staff, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per week. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are not provided.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase the best ingredients available in Bergen
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and control costs
- Train and develop kitchen staff on proper techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management on budget planning and cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of fine dining cuisine trends, techniques, and ingredients
- Ability to manage food costs while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health codes and sanitation regulations
- Must be eligible to work in Bergen without accommodation or visa sponsorship
