Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Eldoret. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to our team by handling various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong attention to detail. This is a part-time position with no requirement for English fluency or previous experience. Accommodation is not provided, making this job suitable for both locals and foreigners.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Prepare and distribute memos, emails, and reports
- Maintain accurate records of office activities
- Order office supplies as needed
- Arrange travel accommodations for staff members
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
- Fluent in English (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
