Hotel Sales Manager

We are hiring a Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Svalbard! As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities at our hotel, from identifying potential clients to negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your goal will be to increase revenue and profits through developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and promoting our hotel as the top choice for their accommodation needs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and cold calling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to ensure maximum profitability for the hotel
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, reservations, and operations to ensure a seamless experience for clients
- Conduct regular sales meetings and trainings with staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about the hotel's offerings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and market dynamics

Preferred Requirements:
- Biometric passport for international travel preferred but not required
- Experience working with CRM software
- Familiarity with Svalbard tourism industry

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
