Part-Time Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Part-Time Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Oslo. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and organizing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. The ideal candidate will have experience in data mining techniques and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and compile large amounts of data from various sources
- Analyze data using statistical methods and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Identify patterns and trends within the data to assist in decision-making
- Develop and maintain databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Collaborate with team members to understand project objectives and provide valuable insights

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data mining or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of SQL or other database management systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a simple manner

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Biometric passport for international travel (optional)
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
