Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing hotel revenue by developing and implementing sales strategies. They will also be in charge of managing the sales team and ensuring they meet their targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
- Manage the sales team, set goals, and monitor their performance
- Identify potential clients and build long-term relationships with them
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for business growth
- Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to stay ahead of the competition
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Prepare reports on sales performance and present them to upper management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in Mombasa or similar locations
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
Salary: 1500$ per month
Location: Mombasa, Kenya (candidates from India or other African countries are welcome)
This is a full-time position, but part-time candidates will also be considered.
