We are hiring an experienced Interpreter to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and various African languages for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation services between English and African languages during meetings, conferences or other events
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of interpretation by actively listening and understanding the source language before delivering the interpretation in the target language
- Use specialized terminology and maintain a high level of knowledge in both English and African languages to accurately convey the intended meaning
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide them with exceptional customer service
- Manage paperwork and documents related to interpretation assignments, such as notes, glossaries, and reference materials
- Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards while interpreting sensitive information

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and at least one African language (Swahili, Hausa, Yoruba, etc.)
- Proven experience as an Interpreter or similar role is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately in both source and target languages
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to quickly process information while maintaining composure under pressure
- Familiarity with cultural differences and sensitivities when working with diverse clients from different backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work irregular hours or on short notice if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position.
