Back-End Developer
Location: Faro, Portugal
Salary: 1600$


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Faro, Portugal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the server-side web application logic, as well as collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into the application.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing efficient and scalable server-side code
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into the application
- Implementing data storage solutions such as databases or key-value stores
- Ensuring high security standards are met for data protection
- Identifying and troubleshooting any performance issues or bugs in the application

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in back-end development
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Node.js or Django
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration with front-end developers
- Understanding of server-side templating languages (Jinja2, EJS)
- Knowledge of API design principles and experience building RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of security principles and how they apply to web applications
