Database Administrator
The Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and managing the database systems of our company in Svalbard. This role is suitable for individuals without prior experience as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should hold a valid visa to work in Svalbard and this position is open to all genders.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
- Troubleshoot database errors and issues
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth operation of systems
- Create and maintain user access controls
- Ensure data security and integrity at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS)
- Basic understanding of SQL language
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary: 1200$
Location: Svalbard, Norway
Visa sponsorship: Not provided, must have own valid visa
