Biometric Passport Information Security Analyst


As a Biometric Passport Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of biometric data and systems used in passport authentication. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring for potential threats. You will work closely with government agencies and passport offices to ensure compliance with security regulations and protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles and experience with biometric technology.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in biometric passport systems
- Develop and implement security measures to protect biometric data from cyber attacks or unauthorized access
- Monitor systems for suspicious activity and respond to any security incidents
- Work with government agencies and passport offices to ensure compliance with security regulations and protocols
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, new technologies, and potential threats to biometric data security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or related field
- Knowledge of biometric technology and its applications in passport authentication
- Strong understanding of information security principles, including risk assessment, threat mitigation, and incident response
- Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with government agencies and other stakeholders

Location: Oslo (Preference for Norwegian citizenship/Work permit)

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
