Indian Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Vilnius. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking authentic Indian cuisine and the ability to create unique and flavorful dishes. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes. You must have a strong understanding of traditional Indian spices, techniques, and flavors, as well as experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes according to menu specifications
- Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and stocking ingredients
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes meets company standards
- Train and supervise assistant chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste
- Collaborate with management on menu development

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Proficient knowledge of traditional Indian spices, techniques, and flavors
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Lithuanian language is a plus)
- Must be eligible to work in Vilnius without sponsorship
