Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Malindi. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel. The individual must have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as exceptional leadership skills to manage and mentor our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus and develop new dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to maintain cost control
- Collaborate with management to set budgets and monitor expenses
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Good understanding of budgeting and cost control measures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
We offer competitive salary of 1000$ per month along with accommodation. This position is open to candidates from Pakistan, Nepal, or any English-speaking country who meet the above requirements.
