Senior Electrical Engineer


The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all electrical engineering projects in Svalbard. This individual will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to design, develop, and maintain complex electrical systems. They will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex electrical systems in Svalbard
- Oversee all electrical engineering projects and ensure they meet technical standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during projects
- Conduct research to stay updated on the latest developments in the field of electrical engineering
- Create and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, control systems, and instrumentation
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting findings to clients or stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for travel to Svalbard

Salary: The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
