Office Assistant
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will assist in daily office needs and manage general administrative activities such as answering phone calls, organizing and maintaining files, and managing schedules. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Organizing and scheduling appointments
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintaining filing systems and accurately recording information
- Managing emails, letters, memos, and other correspondence
- Assisting in preparing documents, presentations, and reports
- Ordering office supplies and keeping track of inventory
- Keeping the office clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Assisting with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and bill payments
- Providing support to other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Previous experience as an Office Assistant or similar role preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Friendly demeanor with a customer service-oriented attitude
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Jeddah (preferably for foreigners)
