Merchandiser - Al Buraymi, Oman
We are currently seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising plans based on market trends and customer demands
- Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to ensure product availability
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure products are effectively displayed and promoted in stores
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate product placement, stock levels, and overall store presentation
- Analyze sales data and use insights to make informed decisions regarding product assortment and pricing
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product placement
- Train store staff on proper merchandising techniques and provide guidance on visual merchandising standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform future merchandising strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi (preferred)
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
Working Conditions:
