Job Title: Merchandiser (Indian Nationals)
We are currently hiring a Merchandiser for our company in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to promote and enhance the sale of our products. This role requires someone who is highly organized, creative, and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising plans and strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of merchandising plans.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for new product development.
- Create visually appealing product displays that meet customer needs and reflect brand values.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment based on sales performance.
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and sourcing of new products.
- Train store staff on product knowledge and visual merchandising techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and consumer trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
