Sous Chef


A renowned restaurant in Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. Our ideal candidate must have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Head Chef in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe guidelines and presented properly
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Salary:
