Baker (Indian Cuisine)


We are in search of a skilled, experienced and creative Baker to join our team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and be able to create delicious, visually appealing and high-quality baked goods. The role involves preparing and baking a variety of Indian breads, pastries, sweets and other traditional delicacies.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings and other ingredients according to traditional Indian recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and proof boxes
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked at the right temperature for the correct amount of time
- Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, glazes or toppings
- Ensure all baked goods are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker in an Indian restaurant or bakery
- Knowledge of traditional Indian recipes and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
- Must be physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods of time
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious baked goods

Salary: 1600 USD per month

Location: Muscat, Oman (Preference for Indian nationals with own visa)

Employment Type: Contract (with potential for extension)
