Shaper - Furniture Maker

Our furniture manufacturing company in Osijek is seeking a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our team. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for creating furniture pieces by shaping and cutting wood using various tools and techniques. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision.

Responsibilities:
- Use various tools such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders to shape and cut wood
- Read and interpret blueprints or design plans to determine specifications for furniture pieces
- Measure and mark wood according to specifications before cutting or shaping
- Smooth and finish surfaces of furniture pieces using sandpaper or other tools
- Assemble furniture pieces by gluing, clamping, nailing, or screwing parts together
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
- Maintain equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Shaper or similar role in a furniture manufacturing setting
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is preferred
- Excellent woodworking skills with the ability to use various tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
