Insurance Claims Adjuster
Location: Bungoma, Kenya

The Insurance Claims Adjuster will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims in Bungoma, Kenya. This includes examining policy coverage, determining liability, and negotiating settlements with claimants. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance claims adjusting and be knowledgeable about local insurance regulations and practices. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims to determine validity and coverage
- Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and review policy documents to assess liability
- Work closely with insurance companies, legal representatives, and other parties involved in the claim process
- Evaluate damages and negotiate settlements with claimants within the limits of the policy
- Keep detailed records of all claim activities and maintain accurate documentation for reporting purposes
- Stay updated on local insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all claim handling procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance claims adjusting
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Finance preferred
- Knowledgeable about local insurance laws, regulations, and practices in Bungoma, Kenya
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under strict deadlines

Preferred:
- Experience working with biometric passports or other identification documents is a plus
