Historic Preservation Architect
As a Historic Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines. This position requires extensive knowledge of historical architecture and construction techniques, as well as strong communication and project management skills.
Your primary duties will include conducting site inspections, assessing the condition of historic structures, and developing preservation plans. You will also be responsible for obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local and national authorities. Additionally, you will oversee the execution of preservation projects, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with preservation standards.
To excel in this role, you must have a degree in Architecture or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience working on historic preservation projects. Knowledge of local and national historic preservation laws is also required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
This is a full-time position that may require occasional travel to project sites. The salary for this role starts at $1600 per month, with potential for growth based on performance. Accommodation may be provided if desired.
