A leading construction company in Nairobi is seeking a skilled Puncher to join our team. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently punching holes, notches, and other shapes in metal and plastic materials. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate punch presses and other equipment to create holes and shapes in metal and plastic materials
- Read blueprints and job orders to determine specifications and requirements
- Select appropriate tools and dies for each job
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Puncher or similar role in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of punches, dies, and materials used in metalworking
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during long hours of production work

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC punch press operations is highly desirable
- Technical training or certification in metalworking or related field
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to machine operation
- Basic computer skills for entering data into production software
