Machine Operator


A machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a production or manufacturing setting. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring their performance, and making adjustments as needed. You will also be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on the machines to ensure their proper functioning.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery according to company standards
- Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments during operation
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor output and quality of products to meet production goals
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or certification in machine operation preferred
- Previous experience working with machinery in a production setting is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals
- Attention to detail and ability to identify issues with machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout shift
