Senior Accountant


Our accounting firm in Bergen is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting for multiple clients, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial statements
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or errors
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports in a timely manner
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes for clients
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvement
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP)
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Bergen, Norway. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Norway.
