Bilingual Interpreter (English/Hindi)


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Interpreter to provide exceptional interpretation services for our clients in Las Vegas. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating verbal communication between English and Hindi speakers in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and appointments. Your role will also involve providing cultural and linguistic support to ensure effective communication. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $1700 per month.

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Hindi (spoken and written)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs of both English and Hindi-speaking communities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required

Responsibilities:
- Interpret verbal communication accurately between English and Hindi speakers
- Provide cultural interpretation to ensure effective communication between parties
- Translate written documents from English to Hindi or vice versa as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Facilitate understanding by explaining idiomatic expressions, colloquialisms, slang, etc.
- Assist with scheduling appointments for clients as needed
- Take detailed notes during interpretation sessions for reference purposes

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or related field preferred but not required
- Certification in interpretation or translation is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and other translation software/tools
- Knowledge of legal terminology is an asset
