Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Balzers, Liechtenstein


We are a highly-acclaimed fine dining restaurant in Balzers, Liechtenstein and we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our passionate team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen operations, and overseeing the preparation of high-quality dishes. Our ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background with experience in fine dining establishments and a creative approach to menu development.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute unique and high-quality menu items that reflect our restaurant's concept
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with food safety standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of quality and consistency
- Collaborate with other chefs and managers to develop new menu items and special offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines for food costs and labor expenses
- Stay current on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience/training preferred
- Creative approach to menu development with a focus on using local, seasonal ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

We offer competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with accommodation. This is a contract job for one year with the possibility of extension. Indians are preferred but all nationalities are welcome. Applicants must have their own visa to work in Liechtenstein.
