Data Mining Analyst in Svalbard


We are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Svalbard. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights to drive business decisions. You must have a strong understanding of data-mining techniques and be proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize data-mining techniques to identify trends and patterns in large datasets
- Develop and implement algorithms to extract data from various sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions
- Use statistical methods to clean and analyze data
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations and reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of data-mining techniques and programming languages (SQL, Python, R)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner

Salary: $1700/month (without accommodation)
Location: Svalbard (remote work may be considered)
Nationality: Preference for local candidates or those with valid work permits in Svalbard.
