We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Carpenter to work on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Contract Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, steel, and other materials. Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Collaborate with other contractors such as electricians and plumbers to ensure smooth construction process
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with at least 2 years of work experience
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery safely
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel for work

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per week. In addition, accommodation will be provided during the duration of the contract.
