Chef de Cuisine


A renowned restaurant in the beautiful city of Clairvaux is looking for a talented Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning to food preparation and presentation. Our ideal candidate is a creative and experienced chef with a passion for cooking and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and brand
- Oversee all food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently served
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop pricing strategies that maximize profits
- Continuously strive to improve the overall dining experience for customers

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create visually appealing dishes that also taste delicious
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Strong understanding of food cost control measures
- Familiarity with local health codes and regulations
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also incorporating customer feedback
- Excellent time management skills
Qualifications:
-A degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field (preferred)
-Certification from a recognized culinary institute
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine
-Demonstrated ability to lead successful culinary teams
-Great communication skills in English

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Clairvaux, France
