Part-time Moderator (Canadian Nationals Preferred)

We are hiring a part-time moderator to join our team in Ashdod. As a moderator, you will be responsible for overseeing online discussions and ensuring that all content posted is appropriate and follows our community guidelines. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to make fair and impartial decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor online discussions and remove any inappropriate or offensive content
- Enforce community guidelines and address any violations
- Engage with community members to foster a positive and respectful environment
- Keep track of user feedback and report any recurring issues to the team
- Collaborate with other moderators to develop new guidelines or initiatives

Requirements:
- Canadian nationality preferred, but all nationalities are welcome to apply
- Fluent in English (Hebrew is an asset)
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or in customer service
- Knowledge of online communities and social media platforms
- Strong understanding of online etiquette and cultural sensitivities
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure

Salary:
$1700 per month for 20 hours per week (with potential for additional hours if desired)

Location:
Ashdod, Israel

This is a part-time position, but we offer flexibility in terms of work schedule. Accommodation can also be provided for those who require it. We encourage candidates with their own visa to apply, but we may also assist with visa sponsorship if needed.
