Job Title: Tiling Specialist

As a Tiling Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential and commercial settings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting tiles, preparing surfaces for tiling, applying adhesives and grout, and ensuring that the finished product is of high quality.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of different types of tiles and their installation methods. You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical stamina as tiling can be physically demanding. A creative eye for design is also beneficial as you may be required to create unique patterns or designs with tiles.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and removing old tiles if necessary
- Apply adhesives, grout, sealants or other materials to secure the tiles in place
- Ensure that the finished product is level and aligned correctly
- Repair or replace damaged or broken tiles
- Create unique tile designs or patterns as requested by clients
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites
- Keep track of inventory levels and order materials when needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of tiles, their properties, and installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary
- Creative mindset with an eye for design
- Good communication skills to interact with clients or other tradespeople on job sites
