Formwork Specialist

As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling temporary structures used to support the concrete during construction projects. This is a contract position, with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have experience in formwork and carpentry, as well as strong physical stamina and attention to detail. This role is suitable for men and offers accommodation for out-of-town workers.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and dimensions of formwork
- Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials to create formwork
- Assemble formwork using a variety of hand and power tools
- Install reinforcing steel and other embedded items into formwork
- Pour concrete into the forms and smooth surfaces using trowels or screeds
- Remove forms once concrete has cured
- Inspect and repair damaged formwork as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience in formwork construction or carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong physical stamina, able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry work
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
