Merchandiser (Monte-Carlo)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Monte-Carlo. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the planning, buying, and selling of products within a specific market or department. Your main goal will be to maximize sales and profitability by ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
- Develop purchasing plans based on sales forecasts and budget constraints
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to meet demand
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and displays
- Analyze sales data to track performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage product returns and exchanges according to company policies

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser in a retail or wholesale environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms from suppliers
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences in the designated market or department
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with luxury or high-end products is highly desirable
- Previous experience living or working in Monte-Carlo is preferred
